Public Speaking Events & About Me

I am originally from the Rhondda but now live in Cardiff. As a qualified & registered youth worker, I advocate strongly for young people and voluntarily support Llamau, a youth Homelessness charity, as their LGBTQ+ Ambassador. In my spare time I sit as an unpaid director on the board of Safer Wales and have been a proud Patron for Pride Cymru for the last 5 yrs. I am also in the process of learning Welsh (dwi’n dysgu Cymraeg!)

My work in the charity sector & performances as a drag artist, with 30 years of experience across Europe, both on stage & television combined with my personal and professional skills bring something fresh to the role of Celebrant. Delivering ceremonies with emotional resonance, hope & joy that will serve as a source of comfort and inspiration long after the event. I aim to use these skills to support all within our society, but as someone with lived experience, I offer a particular focus to members of the LGBTQ+ community. I can provide a “thinking outside the box” perspective to all occasions, whether that’s celebrating a two hearts coming together, the farewell of a loved one or the re-naming of someone finding their authentic self.

I regularly give talks on my own life experiences and the history of drag culture on the UK counting the Women’s Institute, ITV and Principality Building Society amongst my clients. Should you wish me to host your event in drag that that can also be discussed but would be reflected in the pricing.

Please contact me for more information on how I can support you in your event.
